I’ve always been impressed with high end tandem kayaks.  On the water they paddle faster than solo boats and deal with marginal conditions better.  The downside is their weight, cost and that often unnecessary deck.  Our 20’ boat mimics their good qualities while being a lot lighter and less expensive.  If you want a larger boat for longer ventures, this could be it.  Available in two sections the bow and stern connect in the center with a double bulkhead.  Both pieces easily disconnect for portaging and car topping.  If you paddle a kayak and want to take your family on a canoe trip, this is your boat.

23 Foot

Even faster than the 20’ if a bit heavier.  The standard ‘Smart Track’ rudder system prevents ‘weather cocking’.  This boat weighs in the 50 lb. range and is available in sections as is the 20’ boat.  If your trips last all summer consider this boat.
